Wellness Center Dedication
Richard A. Iacino
Richard A. Iacino, a valued and loyal member of the Miller School for 37 years, died unexpectedly on July 17 in Miami. The chief of staff to Dean Pascal Goldschmidt, M.D., and his two predecessors, Deans Bernard Fogel, M.D. and John Clarkson, M.D., Richard was, at the time of his death, also adjunct assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and assistant vice president for health program development. His impact on the medical school is immeasurable. He was instrumental in the development of the Mailman Center for Child Development, the Comprehensive AIDS Program, and the Center on Adult Development and Aging. He also almost single-handedly built the medical campus’s Wellness Center. Please join us for a special service as we dedicate the Medical Wellness Center in his memory:
