FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Boot Camp: Get ready to sweat with basic sport specific movements and cardio drills. Have fun with extremely athletic and challenging movements that merge functional training, weight training, interval drills, and running that will “whip you into shape”!
Kickboxing: De-stress in this fun, pre-designed, non-contact kickboxing interval class using no equipment. Cardio and strength based with an intense energy sprint for the ultimate challenge.
Power Circuit: This 30-30 challenge offers equal halves of “fat burning/heart pumping” and “muscle sculpting” exercise to make for 60 solid- minutes of well-rounded exercise.
Cardio Hip Hop: Enjoy learning funky hi-energy dance combinations while getting fit! Funky dance moves to current music will get your heart pumping. By the end of the class you will feel like a music video star! No prior dance experience necessary.
Just Dance!: The class is cardio dance with styles ranging through the decades. Everything from swing and Charleston to hip hop and disco will be featured. It seems like all the instructors are on their posters, but a usable picture of mine is nowhere to be found. (Try the 30 minute version Just Dance! Xpress)
Learn to Salsa: L.A Style Salsa is the aspect of this salsa dancing class. The moves, the social environment, and the cardio exercise that comes with it make it an enjoyable class for anyone. Come alone or bring a partner for an educational fun experience.
Zumba: Combines high energy Latin music and unique combinations interchanged with resistance and circuit training exercises. Have tons of FUN as you maximize caloric expenditure while improving muscular and cardio strength and endurance! No previous dance experience is required.

Abs Etc.: A 30-minute abdominal, mid-section and lower back workout. Perfect before or after your cardio workout!
BLT (Butt, Legs, & Tummy): Burn calories, get stronger and firm the Butt, Legs and Tummy in this fun and challenging class.
BOSU Fusion Core: Move better, feel better! Balance is an essential part of your exercise program. This complete challenging workout will help you improve core stabilization, cardio, strength and balance adding some drill work, and agility. All levels welcome!
Core & More: Increase the strength of the muscles that provide stability. Also, improve muscle definition for the superficial core muscles. All levels welcome!
Core Mama(TM): An innovative PRENATAL and POSTPARTUM fitness class that help you control weight gain and maintain muscle tone during pregnancy and get your body back faster after baby comes by performing exercises that isolate muscles weakened during and after pregnancy.
Lower Body Work: 30 minutes of intense training of the legs, gluts, thighs and lower back to sculpt and strengthen your lower body to perfection. Perfect for all fitness levels!
Total Body Conditioning: Alternates muscle toning movements along with intervals of fat-blasting cardio techniques set to the upbeat music that will get your heart pumping with a combination of athletic functional moves. This class will integrate the use of different equipment such as XCO trainer, Step, Core Ball, Flexi-Bar, Bands. All levels welcome!!
Upper Body Work: Give your arms, shoulders, chest and back a complete workout in 30 minutes. Ideal for anyone looking to sport sleeveless tops ‘in style’.
Washboard Core: This workout is designed to target those hard to reach gluts, abs, and core sections! Challenge your abdominals, lower back, and total core area.
Cycling & Sculpt: Improve your cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength and tone. Stationary cycling drills on the LeMond RevMaster bike are combined with creative muscle toning exercises performed off the bike. Get all your day’s cardio and strength training in 60 minutes or less!
Music Video Spin: Indoor cycling class set to the latest music videos available. This 45 minute cycling class will have you riding to upbeat and visual videos of today.
Studio Cycling: Experience this athletic, adrenaline-pumping group workout performed on the LeMond RevMaster stationary bike with high energy music. It will make you feel like a cycling pro!
Anusara Yoga: A Hatha yoga system where the human spirit powerfully blends with the science of biomechanics and the universal principles of alignment. This non-dual Tantric philosophy is epitomized by a “celebration of the heart”. Come and explore the possibilities!
Ashtanga Yoga: Strength, stamina & sweat are unique to this traditional practice taught in sequential order, focusing on detoxification & body alignment. Great for highly-disciplined yoga practitioners!
Gentle Yoga: Designed for those who need time to relax, de-stress or get an energy boost, this class follows a slower but just as effective practice to strengthen the muscles while calming the body and mind. No yoga experience required!
Integrative Yoga: A more gentle, focus on integrating the mind and the body together - meditation and poses.
Lunchtime Yoga: This one-hour lunchtime class is designed for participants of all fitness levels so as to offer an option to “break from the workplace”, nurture the body and soul. You may walk in or out as needed to fit your work schedule.
Power Flow Yoga: Take yoga to the next level in this intense workout which combines Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow disciplines with intermediate-advanced poses. Recommended for yoga practitioners who are ready to take their practice to the next level! Two levels are available for this practice.
Tai Chi: This class is designed to enhance mind-body awareness through deep breathing and postures which flow from one to the next. This series of slow, continuous movements aids to improve of focus and reduction in stress levels.
Vinyasa Yoga: Vinyasa means “breath synchronized with movement” and will harness the power of breath to flow through movements for the entire class. Finish with a relaxation that will leave you refreshed and renewed. Be sure to take note of the various class levels offered (1-beginner/intermediate and 2 -intermediate/advanced, depicted on the class schedule.
Yoga Focus: A Vinyasa based class, designed for intermediate/advance practitioners. Each class offers a specific theme to guide the students to explore important aspects of the yoga experience. Come and deepen your yoga practice!
Aqua Workout: Increase aerobic, strength and flexibility conditioning using aqua “toys” and equipment in the swimming pool. Perfect for all fitness levels! No swimming experience required.
Mat Pilates: A cross conditioning system designed to shape your legs, hips, back, chest and arms with a precise focus on strengthening your abdominals and your back. Great compliment to any workout! Pilates will transform, re-define and shape your body into a long, lean and athletic streamlined physique without developing “bulky” muscles.
