About DCC

Launched in 2010, the Dolphins Cycling Challenge (DCC) is a two-day, tri-county cycling event which donates 100% of rider-raised funds to innovative cancer research at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Since 2010, DCC riders have raised almost $12 million dollars.

Through a fun, safe, and exceptional two-day bike event, we provide the experts at Sylvester 100% of rider-raised, unrestricted funding to develop novel advances in cancer research to offer hope and critical care for South Florida patients and their families.

History

At the first Dolphins Cycling Challenge in November 2010, riders raised $533,000, for Sylvester. In 2011, $1,070,000 was raised, more than doubling the funds raised in the 2010 inaugural ride. Again in 2012, DCC doubled in ridership and in fundraising. The DCC presented a check for $2,200,000 to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center on November 25th, 2012. At the fourth Dolphins Cycling Challenge in 2013, more than 2,500 riders raised $3.1 million for Sylvester.
